YOU CAN HAVE IT "all"
It wasn’t until I met my husband that I became interested in entrepreneurship, but I always knew that I wanted to be a mother. I dabbled into entrepreneurship selling and designing t-shirts in 2013, but I was not fulfilled. It wasn’t until working at an afterschool program that I started taking entrepreneurship more seriously. After getting pregnant with my first child and witnessing first-hand the struggles of working parents, I decided that I wanted more for my son. My desire was to provide but to also be in control of my time so that I never had to choose between my family and work. So, in 2015 and 6 months pregnant, I quit my job on May 24th, 2015 and have not looked back since.
Now a stay-at-home mom, I wasted time and money investing in program after program searching for the answer to my success. I started distributing for a network marketing company and was brainwashed by the hustle culture. I quickly forgot my purpose for even starting this journey in the first place. And, although my love and passion for branding was birthed from this season, I spent so much time launching and relaunching things trying to keep up with what everyone else was doing. I lost focus! It took years for me to realize what I was supposed to do and that is help mothers, like me, who want to be successful at both family and business without lacking in either area.
